Our Founder
For over 20 years, Dr. Samantha Worthington has been a dedicated advocate for women’s healing and growth, drawing on her extensive experience in trauma and abuse recovery counseling, leadership development, and neuroscience-based coaching. Her work empowers women to overcome adversity, reframe limiting narratives, and lead with purpose and confidence. As a former board member of the Open Door Crisis Centre and a committed volunteer with the Gift of the Givers Foundation, Dr. Worthington combines deep compassion with scientific insight - creating transformative spaces where women can rise, rebuild, and thrive.
With a background in psychology, education, service, executive leadership, and a lifelong passion for social equity, Dr. Samantha Worthington founded WORTH Women to address the systemic barriers that hold women back - economically, socially, and professionally. Under her leadership, the foundation has become a catalyst for change, empowering women through education, mentorship, and leadership development across diverse communities. Driven by compassion and bold purpose, Dr. Worthington has turned advocacy into action, creating lasting opportunities for women to rise and lead.
